The first race of 2016 will be a short (2k run/8k bike/800m run) Duathlon at La Pulente on Sunday 17th January.

Where:

Meet at the dirt car park on the sand dunes side of the five mile road (on the right hand side after the first slipway if driving north up five-mile Road)

Time:
07:45 Registration for an 08:15 start

Course:
2k run looping round Petit Port, 8k cycle out and back (dead turn on 5MR), then an 800m run out and back towards Le Braye.

Entry:
Open to those aged 13 or over on 31 December 2016 (demonstrated competence racing on open roads and parental consent required if under 18).

Drafting:
The bike leg is non-drafting but you can partner up with another competitor at registration to make a two person team – you can draft with your team mate.
