Tri Something new in 2026 – 14th June
400m swim > 10km cycle > 2.5km run
Now in its 10th year, the Jersey Triathlon Club challenges you to ‘tri something new’.
Try a Tri will help you:
- Gain confidence
- Improve fitness
- Meet new people
- All while learning a new sport!
We also work together to raise lots of money for our nominated charity (which the class of 2026 will select).
All you need to do is commit to a 10 week training program where we teach you the fundamentals of triathlon.
You will come together as the class of 2026 to swim, bike and run each week, guided by our qualified coaches.
No prior experience is required and no need to buy a special bike.
Everyone is welcome!

How do I get started?
Before the full training training begins, you can join in a free couch to 5km program with Jersey Sport to ease yourself into running. There is also an optional 6 week coached swimming course starting in February to get you feeling confident in the water.
Is this competitive?
You will train with your fellow classmates in non-competitive training sessions. On race day, you will race! (we will prepare you for this).
New for 2026! The Corporate Cup will be awarded to a local company where competing employees earn points for both fundraising efforts and their participation on race day.
