Dear Triathletes
We would like to invite any athlete who is interested in representing Jersey at the Island Games in Gotland 2017 and the Commonwealth Games in Australia in 2018 to a time trial day on 11 October 2015.
Performances in 2016 will form the basis of selection for both of these events so it is important that we begin the process of analysing potential athletes as soon as possible. This session will also give our Head Coach the opportunity to speak with you individually about your aspirations towards these two high profile events.
Further details of the selection process will be revealed later in the year. The time trials will be open to anyone who is aged 17 or over and will be based on swim and run only with the following distances tested:
Run 3,000 metres
Swim 400m followed by another 400m
Times to follow shortly but likely to be an early 8am start at FB for the run trials with the swim trials later at 2pm at Haute Valle school.
